Scott and Karen Lamberson
Born and raised in the 1960’s with her five siblings in the open plains of Nebraska, Karen Lamberson developed her love of nature and animals. Always an artist with a strong talent for “thinking outside the box,” Karen moved to Florida in the mid-80’s, where her love for the ocean and its inhabitants grew and blossomed. This is where she met Scott, her husband/partner in life, and where they raised four amazing boys, Joseph, David, Joshua, and Matthew. Karen and her family live next to the ocean, always surrounded by her beloved household pets, too numerous to mention.
Teaching art became Karen’s passion. Working in the Palm Beach County School system for more than 17 years, Karen made her lifelong dream a reality when she decided to “self author” and illustrate a children’s educational book series about the oceans. With the help of her husband, Professor Clark the Science Shark was born and brought to life.
